SENIOR SUPPORT is a nutritional supplement with plant extracts for dogs in the form of flavoured, chewable tablets.
It is used to support wellness in dogs over 7 years old.
Contains Cyanotis arachnoidea extract that helps maintain muscle mass, rosemary extract known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and Artemisia dracunculus extract that promotes glucose
Composition Dextrose, Cyanotis arachnoidea extract 8%, poultry by-products, magnesium stearate, yeasts, sugars.
Additives per tablet: 1.250mg Rosemary extract 72mg, hydroxy-propyl-methyl cellulose, Artemisia dracunculus extract 30mg, zeolite, colloidal silicon, preservatives, antioxidants: BHA <0.005ppm, propyl gallate.

Αn aromatic herb originating in the Mediterranean basin. Rosemary extract has significant antioxidative activity, mainly contributed from key antioxidant components namely, carnosol, carnosic acid and ursolic acid a pentacyclic triterpene acid which possesses important biological properties:

Tarragon extract (Artemisia dracunculus extract)
Artemisia, is a species that has long been used in traditional Asian medicine. It is known as a spice species in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Contemporary research on the biological activity of A. dracunculuss has shown the following effects
- antioxidant, immunomodulatory and antineoplastic properties
- hepatoprotective, hypoglycaemic and thyroidregulating effects.
- An antidepressant effect has also been documented.
- The anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects known from traditional medicine applications have also been confirmed

Cyanotis arachnoidea extract
Cyanotis arachnoidea is a plant found in southern China. C. arachnoidea is rich in ecdysterone which is a natural plant steroid with anabolic, hypolipidemic, anti-diabetic, anti-inflammatory and hepatoprotective effects. More specifically ecdysterone:
- Increases protein synthesis in skeletal muscles and heart
- Stimulates production of erythrocytes
- Is able to suppress hepatic glucose formation and thus lower blood sugar levels.
- Reduces plasma cholesterol levels
- Possesses immunomodulatory activity
- Restores the capacity to focus, concentrate and perform mental work
- Promotes skin repair and growth.
- Helps adaptive response to stress factors
One chewable tablet per 10kg body weight daily.

Rheum Palmatum Root Extract (Rhubarb)

The stems of the plant are full of vitamin C, minerals, fibers and polyphenols. Rhubarb polyphenols have been shown to be effective against type-2 diabetes and insulin resistance, shown antimicrobial and anti-oxidant as well as antifungal activity.
